How saturated are you?
Search Engine Saturation refers to the number of pages a given search engine has
in its index for your website. Not all search engines report this information
but enough of them do to create some meaningful benchmarks for your search
engine marketing campaigns.
Here's some useful information you
can gather using the Search Engine Saturation tool:
-
Total number of pages indexed in each search
engine for your website.
-
Know how many pages of your site are not
indexed so you can take appropriate action. Remember you want them all
indexed, a site with 100 pages of good quality content has much a better
chance of being found than a site with only 10 pages. Every page is important
as it increases your chance of showing up in the SERP's.
-
Check to see how your competitors sites are
performing in search engines? If they have high search engine saturation
numbers, analyze what they are doing right.
